Q Nightclub and Lounge is more than a place to go out. It is a community space with deep roots in Regina’s 2SLGBTQIA+ history.
Q is community-owned and operated by the Gay & Lesbian Community of Regina, Inc., also known as GLCR. Established in 1972, GLCR has spent decades creating space for queer connection, celebration, advocacy, and belonging in Regina. Today, Q Nightclub and Lounge continues that legacy as a welcoming place for drag shows, dance nights, fundraisers, community events, themed parties, and nights out with friends.
We are proud to be the only 2SLGBTQIA+ community-owned club in Canada. Everyone is welcome at Q, whether you are part of the community, an ally, a longtime member, or visiting for the first time.
Q is a private members’ club, so memberships are required for entry and can be purchased at the door for as low as $5.00.
To learn more about GLCR’s history and the community that helped shape this space, watch the history timeline video below.
