GLCR and Q Nightclub and Lounge are powered entirely by volunteers. From the Board of Directors who help guide the organization, to the bartenders, event helpers, door team, performers, committee members, and community members who lend their time and care, every part of this space exists because people show up for it.
As a non-profit, community-owned organization, volunteer leadership is at the heart of what we do. Our volunteers help keep Q running, support events, care for the space, welcome guests, and continue the legacy of a club built by and for the community.
There are always ways to help, both during events and behind the scenes. Beyond shows, dances, fundraisers, and community nights, there is a whole building to care for. If you have trade skills, such as plumbing, electrical work, painting, carpentry, maintenance, repairs, or renovations, we would love to connect. We also welcome folks who may not have formal trade experience but are handy, reliable, and determined to help keep the space in good shape.
Volunteering with GLCR is a meaningful way to get involved, meet people, build skills, and help sustain Regina’s 2SLGBTQIA+ community-owned nightclub. Whether you have a few hours to offer, want to help with events, or are interested in supporting the organization behind the scenes, we would love to hear from you.
